ABLE release notes for February 14th, 2023

Hey ABLE users!

We've got some exciting updates for you in this release. Check it out:

Quality of Life improvements:

  • New Tab Creation Button

We've made multitasking a breeze with the new tab creation button in the sidebar. No more fumbling around trying to open a new browser tab – it's always in front of you and just a single click away.

  • Access Knowledge Base Workspace Button

We know how important it is to have quick access to your knowledge base workspace, so we've added a new button in the sidebar. Just click on it, and you'll be taken to your knowledge base workspace in a new tab within the app.

  • Improved Links

We've made accessing the information you need even more effortless. With our improved links feature, any URLs you type in the knowledge base text automatically turn into clickable links. Just click on the link to view it in the built-in browser, or use CMD+click to open it in the dual-pane view.

  • Address Bar Autofocus

We've added a cool new feature that automatically places the cursor in the address bar when you open a new tab. Now, you can immediately start typing whatever you want without having to manually select the address bar.

  • CMD+T new tab creation

We added a keyboard shortcut to create new tab. Just hit CMD+T on Mac to create a new tab and fly on. Less mouse clicks more button hits. More speed, more flow.

Fixes and improvements

  • Fixed Website Sizing

We've fixed a bug that caused websites to go outside the boundaries of the window. Now, everything stays within the window, so you can focus on what's important without any distractions.

  • Fixed Blinking Browser Window

We've fixed a bug that caused the browser window to blink when hovering over the sidebar. No more annoying blinking windows!

  • Fixed Sidebar control buttons Bug

We've also fixed a bug where the underlying tab control buttons would disappear when closing tabs in the sidebar. Now, everything stays put, and you can keep working without any hiccups.
