Add Web Links to “Favorites” When Dragged into Pages

Problem:

Currently, there is only one way to save a link to a page’s Favorites (or page Related Links) — the web link must be actively open in a web pane.
This is limiting and breaks flow when users want to attach a link they already have (e.g. copied, bookmarked, or dragged from elsewhere).

Additionally, the current name “Favorites” does not clearly reflect its purpose when used inside knowledge pages.

Proposed Solutions:

1. Auto-save dragged links into a structured list

  • When a user drags and drop on knowledge base page:

    • a web tab from the sidebar, or

    • a file containing a URL
into a page in the knowledge base:

  • The link should be added to a favorites list on that page.

2. Rename “Favorites” to something more clear

  • Suggested name: Related Links

  • Reason: reflects the purpose better — connections, references, context — rather than implying a generic bookmark.

Why it matters:

  • Reduces friction when building contextual knowledge.

  • Allows users to attach relevant links without duplicating effort
