I believe that in the current implementation, it is not visually obvious to the user that, instead of the originally pinned site, a completely different website is now opened in the pane. This may confuse or mislead the user.
Expected
I propose improving how such tabs are displayed, partially borrowing logic from Zen Browser. Suggested behavior:
If navigation inside a pinned tab happens within the same original domain
(e.g., able.ac β able.ac/contacts)
then the tab should continue displaying the original site's favicon, followed by a slash, and then the title of the currently active page.
If navigation inside a pinned tab goes outside the original domain
(e.g., able.ac β x.com/meet_able)
then the tab should display the original site's favicon, followed by a slash, and then the favicon and name of the currently active external page.
