Keep Search Modal Open After Opening Results in Background or Dual Pane

When I open a search result (especially in background or right pane), the search modal closes automatically.
It’s impossible to open several relevant results at once—I lose my search results and have to repeat the search every time, which is slow and inconvenient.

Suggest a solution
Keep the search modal open when opening results in a background tab or pane. Allow users to select and open multiple results from the same search session.
