Pin tab to stay always open in dual-pane

On the left or right pane, I want to pin a tab of some website or page of my knowledge base, so I could always have it open in from of me.

    Questions:
    1. I have pinned tab (as described above), and try to:

    • open link in preview pane

    • open new tab in right pane

    • click "Open Page" on highlight toast from left pane

    • open inactive tab in right pane by clicking "open tab in right pane" icon at tab block in sidebar

    Right now all this actions:

    • set ABLE in Dual Pane Mode (if requied)

    • load required content in right pane.

    What should be expected behaviour with new 'pinned' tab?

    1. If user has pinned tab in right pane and any other type of document in left pane, that should be expected behaviour after user closed left pane?
      a) pinned tab in single pane mode?
      b) ABLE still in dual pane mode, but with blank tab in left pane?

    2. What should be expected behaviour after user tries to open any new tab after executing section 2?
